happyI when to see Harry Potter and the deadly hollows part 1. And to tell you the truth: I absolutely loved! It must have been the best HP they’ve made yet.
coldWow! I can’t believe it, a week has already passed since I went back to university. I've started my two year translation studies, and I’m a bit scared of what to expect... Especially after one year sabbatical since my last diploma. I beat the stress by having really nice teachers, (somehow they have a nice sense of humor, one is even sarcastic funny, and the students are really nice, friendly. The down side is that since I'm taking a 2 year course instead of three years, I'm kind of getting into the program one year after the other students, so most of them know each other. I have to weed out the 2 years program, since they would be in the same situation as me.
I’m so lucky with my schedule, I only have courses three days a week. And the homework are not too heavy for now (if you don’t count the translation I had to do for yesterday, but the teacher decided to postpone it to next week, at least it’s done, I don’t have to worry about it.
On a lighter note, I’m waiting for my NewS CD, I'm expecting it next week, and hopefully it won't take two weeks just like last time with my Diamond concert. If it does, I'll know YesAsia hates NewS :P
I’ve also pre-ordered K8 new album. Surprised? I hope not, if I buy NewS who's my second fav Japanese band (they’re tied with Arashi), so of course I'll buy their new CD since they are my number one!!!! I can’t wait for October, but at the same time I don't want to move that fast, I'll be in the middle of mid-terms :(
And their movie!!!!! If only it could be at Montréal's movie festival Fantasia! That movie is a dream come true for all K8 fans. All seven members, a baby?, and a bar… what more could we hope for? Seems like now Arashi is the only one doing members TV projects. K8 is really on a roll, hope it lasts.
I’ll stop now, I need to listen to my teacher, he’s talking about graded homework. :P

It feels like an eternity since I’ve written in my lj! I guess I’ve been a bit to lazy, I even missed K8 day, but I have been busy with other things :P
Especially tonight...
Today, August 18 was the start of the Curd festival in St-Albert, a town about 30 minutes from Ottawa (or 8km from Casselman). It’s mostly francophone, well, regarding the shows. There are still lots of stuff to do even if you don’t speak French. What I like the most is the giant maze, I went through it last year, and it was great, and according to what I’ve heard, it’s become even bigger and better.
Now back to tonight, they had my favourite stand-up comedian, Louis-José Houde. I’ve been to his last show in 2007 (which was so popular than it ran for three years aprox.). And tonight was a mix of his old show with new material, it was one hour of pure laughter, my jaw hurt so much right now!!!
And since it was a ‘Curd’ festival, the gave out free curd cups to everybody. (Yummy!) They have a giant bingo tomorrow and Saturday and Sunday they have a rodeo. I don’t think I’ll go but it seems fun.
Now for the other big news. I’m sure (I hope) that everybody in Canada has seen the Knorr ad?! If not take a look. And there are at least three others, this one is just my favourite.
Now, what does this has to do with me being so happy? You might not know, but the salt and pepper shaker seen it this ad were so popular and in demand that Knorr had to make and sell the pair. You read right, you can buy via internet the salt and pepper shakers, if you have 3 Knorr products you can even get them free, you just pay the shipping. (At least it was like that five months ago). The down side, I had to way for 16 weeks for them to ship them over (that’s what was written in my confirmation e-mail), but since the 16 weeks fell in July and I was away on holidays we asked them to postpone it to August. And now they are finally here, just take a look:
